  1. You have to visit your bank or credit card's website.

Note: If you can’t find your URL, go to Bank Transactions and click Link Account. Next, browse your bank, choose it, and copy the listed URL.

  1. Now, you can sign in to your bank or credit card's website.


If you can easily sign in to your bank and credit card’s website, that means there are no significant issues. Now, on your bank's website:


  1. Check your account to see whether there are messages, notifications, or alerts.

  2. After you go through the website, see whether there are any sort of display issues. These may be the hurdle in downloading transactions.

  3. Check your account to see whether there are any announcements about new security requirements.


If all is good, propagate back to QuickBooks:

  1. Move to Transactions and click Bank Transactions.

  2. Next, you have to pick Update.


Step 3: Updating your bank information in QuickBooks
